Terms of Service

Last updated 29 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the services hosted on Aether by Andreas Zita ("we", "us"). By using one of them you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

What this is

Aether is a platform for small, independently operated services. Each one is provided as it is, and several are experiments that may change substantially or be withdrawn. Nothing here is sold to you and no fee is charged unless a particular service says otherwise in writing.

Your account

Signing in requires an account with an identity provider such as Google or Microsoft. You are responsible for that account and for what happens under it here. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough in your country to agree to these terms. Do not impersonate anyone or sign in on someone else's behalf without their permission.

What you may not do

We may remove content or withdraw access at any time, without notice, where we judge these rules to have been broken. Some services filter submissions automatically and will silently skip content that appears abusive.

Content you submit

You keep ownership of what you write. By submitting it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store it, process it — including by passing it to an automated language model — and to publish writing derived from it, for as long as the service runs.

You confirm that what you submit is yours to submit and does not infringe anyone's rights.

Automated processing and what gets published

Some services combine many people's submissions into a single piece of writing using a large language model. What is published is generated by software, is not reviewed line by line before it appears, and is not attributed to you. It may be inaccurate or may not reflect what you meant. Do not treat anything published this way as advice or as a statement of fact, and do not submit anything you would not want blended into public writing.

Availability

These services are operated by one person on modest infrastructure. There is no uptime guarantee, no support commitment, and no promise that data will survive indefinitely. Keep your own copy of anything that matters to you.

No warranty

The services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law permits.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost data, or for lost profits arising from your use of the services. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.

Ending it

You may stop using a service at any time and ask us to delete your account; see the Privacy Policy for what that removes and what remains. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if we stop running the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above changes when we do, and continuing to use a service after a material change means you accept it.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes belong to the Swedish courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your own country.
